I was also involved recently in a similar workshop where information was provided and next steps were discussed.  The group struggled with where to from here.  I thought I would offer some thoughts as to why they struggled;
1.  They came along to gather information, not necessarily to make decisions about the next steps.
2.  There was a lot of complex &amp; possibly threatening information delivered.
3.  The group had come together for the first time that day and were from a large geographical area.
4. This was the start of a conversation or information gathering process and perhaps they were not ready for decisions just yet.
Although no solid next steps were identified, many converstaions just got started.</description>
