Blog > Isn’t it time we had contemporary conferences too?
April 19, 2011
There’s a program on the telly about a contemporary art exhibition in Brisbane: ArtScape – 21C: Art in the First Decade.
What strikes me is that it’s all about participatory contemporary art – interacting, not just observing. It’s about challenging and shifting perspectives and expectations. It’s about surprise and delight, maybe even discomfort. And it’s also about engaging all of the senses.
Seems to me that’s a good place to start when designing a conference.
